Safety and well-being

Kosanjo Care ensures the safety and well-being of their residents by assessing the safety & security of the care home, providing personal protective equipment, and following infection control protocols. These are some ways that Kosanjo Care supports their clients. Kosanjo Care is committed to providing quality care and support to their residents and improving their lives.

24/7 Staffing support

We provides staffing support to meet the needs of our residents no matter what. We ensure to make sure that each resident has a keyworker as a point of contact to meeting their needs. We have On-Call service for emergency and complaint procedure through policies and procedures. Our staff receives continuous training and abide with CQC regulations and changes in the regulation to meet your needs.

Person Centred Care

Kosanjo Care will ensure that your Care Plan and Risk Assessment are tailored to meet your needs with support from NOK, Advocate, Social Worker, and yourself as the centre of the care. Changes to your care needs will be recorded as soon as possible to avoid confusion. As someone’s care needs change, we are there to review what they need so they can continue living their lives feeling safe and contented. We provide low, medium and high-dependency residential support for residents, which includes administering medication. Residents can transition easily as their needs change, making our Chingford care home a happy place in which to spend their later years. We work closely with a wealth of community and clinical professionals to ensure our residents’ care needs are met. These include district nurses, GPs, opticians, psychiatrist, dieticians, and chiropodists, to mention few.

Family involvement

Before someone comes to live with us, and then regularly reviewed throughout the year, we develop a detailed plan in partnership with the individual and those closest to them. This plan documents a resident’s personalised care needs, life history, likes and dislikes and future goals and underpins our skilled team members’ exceptional care and support. As we wholeheartedly believe families and friends are an integral part of our home, they are welcome to visit at any time and to play an active part in their loved ones’ lives. We also support family members by arranging a regular carer event and arrange a referral to Carer support where required. We are at hand to listen and offer advice whenever you need us. We appreciate finding a care home, worthy of supporting your nearest and dearest can be an emotional time. This is why we are here to chat through your options and help where we can. Medication Management

Kosanjo Care staff are trained and receives continuous training on the administration of medication which also include, registering with GP of your choice, requesting, and arranging collection of your medication, changes in medication, updating NOK of changes in medication and attending medical appointment. We liaised with GP and psychiatrist to ensure that you are taking the right medication and we also practice STOMP in line with government regulation.
